Meet The Baker
Hi, I’m Elise!
I’m a lifelong lover of all things homemade and the heart and hustle behind our microbaker here in Syracuse, Utah. My love for baking began as a child, helping my mom make homemade bread and cinnamon rolls from scratch—a tradition that sparked a lifelong passion.
Over the past few years, I’ve been perfecting the art of sourdough. After baking for friends and family, we officially launched our home-based, licensed microbakery last year.
Now, I get to share fresh, naturally leavened bread with our community through preorder pickups on Hotplate, our self-serve bread stand, and this summer at the Ogden Farmers Market! I also offer hands-on sourdough classes in my kitchen—one of my favorite ways to connect and share this beautiful craft!
Baking for others is truly my love language. There’s something so special about creating food that nourishes and brings joy. I pour that love into every loaf, and it means the world to share it with you.
Want to Learn How to Bake Your Own Sourdough at Home?
I love teaching others the joy of baking! In each workshop, we’ll go step-by-step through the entire sourdough process.
You don’t need fancy tools or years of experience—just curiosity and a willingness to get your hands a little floury!
Join me for a hands-on class where you’ll learn everything from feeding your starter to pulling your first loaf from the oven.
